Hello,I would like to ask for feedback on a frustrating issue.
I have a chronic cough, and chlorine dioxide (MMS) seems to be the only promising remedy out of the dozens of options I have tried. However, for some reason my body can’t seem to tolerate consistent hourly doses of ½ drop of MMS. After slowly building up to about 4-5 doses of ½ drop I get a mild headache. I then stop taking doses for 3 days and start over. Have you tried Protocol-1000F or CDS Protocol-F?
I have tried a very conservative acclimation schedule, spending a week on ¼ drop doses alone. I’d like to stick with MMS instead of trying CDS because many principals (including Jim Humble, Kerri Rivera and Mark Grenon) have said that MMS is more effective.
Also my understanding is that the best way to take CDS is to not eat anything during the eight hourly doses, which is a difficult accommodation. Fasting is not necessary when ingesting CDS. See attached PDF file.
Are there any tips on how I can get my body to safely tolerate higher doses of MMS? There are many methods of getting CLO2 into your body without ingesting it. Tub baths, foot baths, enemas, topically, the bag protocol, etc.
Details: I combine one drop of 4.375% HCl and 1 drop 22.5% sodium chlorite (both purchased from KV Labs), wait 45 seconds, add ½ cup distilled water and drink 1/8 cup in order to have a dose of ¼ drop. While administering my hourly doses, my total food intake is a small amount of fish or chicken 20 minutes after each dose, in order to help stimulate stomach acid. I take vitamin C powder only after the doses and never before.
I'd appreciate any feedback you might have. Thank you.
You may have the MTHFR gene mutation problem. See two attached PDF files.
It would be interesting to know how much CDS your body can tolerate. If that is promising, you could try following Protocol-102A.

Importance of Stomach Acid
Published on: April 5, 2026
You have heard it said, “You are what you eat”, but in my opinion, it’s more accurate to say “You are what you absorb.” Stomach acid plays an important role in what nutrients you absorb from the food you eat. When someone is deficient in stomach acid the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients …
