240 ml of CDS water and 12 ml of MMS + 12 ml of either 10% HCL or 50% citric acid. Activate overnight.
Let me see if I understand correctly as I bought all the components to do it exactly as is done in the video as demonstrated by Andreas.
I can repeat the exact same procedure that Andreas uses with the shot glass and clip-on lid, BUT I just have to add 240ml distilled water in the container and 12 ml of MMS + 12 ml of 50% Citric Acid in the shot glass? Activate for 12 hours?
I don't have the container that you showed in your picture.

When you say "240ml of CDS water", do you mean 240ml of distilled water?Right, use the same containers as shown in the video.
240ml of CDS water
12ml MMS + 12ml 50% citric acid in the shot-glass.
Activate overnight.
Measure CLO2 ppm as per the PDF.
Let us know the results!
Because CDS water/solution is what I'm trying to make?
Sorry, a bit confused, this is new to me.....
Edit: Also, should I increase the amount of MMS and 50% Citric Acid if I want to create more CDS? So:
360ml of water
18ml MMS + 18ml 50% citric acid in the shot-glass.

You can scale the recipe up or down. If using a standard shot glass, 240ml of CDS water is about all you can use or the reactor solution and CDS may mix together. If that happens, you will not have CDS!

I have made MMS one other time in June of 2022. I have two recipes to make a 4 oz bottle of 22.4% MM.. One has me using 4 tablespoons of sodium chlorite flakes (1 tbsp = 14.78 grams, or 59.12 grams total). And I have a note the suggests 1.54 ounces or 43.659 grams of sodium chlorite for each 4 oz bottle of MMS. Any suggestions, maybe go with the smaller amount and work up. I would like to make a 5 or 6 oz bottle. Thanks much for your response.

See the attached PDF on making 22.4% SCS. It describes a simple method. Note that SCS remains effective about 18 months when stored at room temperature.
